This morning when we woke up it was snowing and only -8 C (17.5 F)! It continued snowing until around 2pm, and we got a total of 3 or 4 inches of new snow. After breakfast, Stig (Eskil's brother) came over and took us to a place in Alfta where there are groomed cross-country ski trails. Anna-Greta, Ebba, Kevin, Linnea, Annali, and I all went along.

We put Annali in the Ergo on Kevin's back, and everyone strapped on their skis. We all started off together, but because of the depth of the new powdery snow, Linnea had a bit of trouble and had to go slower. So Kevin, Ebba, and Stig went off by themselves on a nice trip around one of the shorter trails. Kevin really did quite well skiing, even with a sleeping child on his back, and he's looking forward to trying it again soon. Anna-Greta, Linnea, and I stayed behind and went at our own pace a little ways up and back on the trail. When Linnea'd had enough, we went back to the parking lot, made some snow angels, and got out the "pulka". After a short while, everyone came back to the cars having had a great time! What fun we had playing in the fresh snow!

| Look how much snow fell during the short time we were skiing! |

| And a little time out to make more snow angels - or maybe just take a little break! |
 |
| Fika hits the spot, especially since we worked up quite large appetites with all our skiing! Annali prticularly enjoys the pepparkakor she made yesterday - yum! |
